If you’ve ever called our shop, dropped by to pick up a bouquet and browse our gift shop or we delivered to you, you know that we have some of the friendliest staff members you’ll ever meet (both the human and canine kind).

But you may not know all of our staff, so we thought we’d introduce you to some of them.

With the bone chilling winds of winter coming to an end soon (we hope), our thoughts turn to the bright and cheery colors of spring. For centuries, the spring season has been accompanied by celebrations of renewal and hope. Vivid spring hues are a wonderful way to bring life to any environment, no matter how dull.

Let’s talk about a few fun ways to incorporate them this season.

Orchids are one of the most delicate flowers with a uniquely diverse aesthetic. Though the smaller sizes are more common, their size depends entirely upon their species. The giant orchid can reach up to 200 pounds in weight, while the smallest variety only reaches two millimeters in size. When the larger varieties grow in clusters they can reach up to one ton, though that’s not typically the kind of orchid you’ll find at a flower shop!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about surprising that special someone with flowers and gifts to make them smile. Flowers are always a nice surprise, but you can also get creative and include a little something extra for your sweetheart.

Classic and creative flowers

Giving flowers to others is a centuries-old tradition throughout the world. We send flowers to express love, happiness, sympathy, regret, and so much more. Flowers speak a powerful language between friends, family, and loved ones.

Flower prices vary greatly depending on bloom type, style, design, size, harvest location, and many other factors. What most people do not fully realize, however, is why and how floral arrangements can be so expensive.
