Spring event flowers to make your event shine
Chilly weather isn’t quite as charming once the holidays are over and most of us are turning our thoughts to the promises of spring — warm weather, birds singing, and beautiful blooms peeking out toward the sun. This mid-season lull is also a great time to be thinking about plans for major events coming up in the months ahead.
Maybe you or someone you know is going to be a spring bride, which means a bridal shower and of course flowers for the big day itself. Perhaps you know someone expecting a baby this year and are thinking ahead to baby shower ideas. Or, maybe your company is working on their corporate event schedule for the year. Colors, meanings, arrangements, and smells will all have an impact on your event. White is often a go-to color for bridal showers, but don’t be afraid to inject a little color. Ask about the bride’s likes and dislikes and play off that for floral decor. Does she enjoy tiaras and all things pink? White roses are delicate and bright, and they represent youth, innocence, and purity. Gerbera daisies and hydrangeas feature really bold and fun colors, while still managing to look soft and beautiful.
