Let’s celebrate National Dog Month!
It’s National Dog Month! Our regular customers know we're huge fans of dogs here at Lilygrass. If you come visit our shop, chances are you'll be greeted by one of our shop dogs, behind a closed gate, looking for some extra pets because the owner, Alicia brings her 2 dogs to work everyday, Rosco and Baloo. Not only are they cute and cuddly, but studies also show that allowing pets in a business relieves stress and promotes positive social interactions.
Our love for furry friends extends beyond bringing our dogs to work with us. We also volunteer with a local rescue , All Paws Rescue and foster dogs and cats. On their home page is a picture of Rosco when he was in the rescue. If you’ve never volunteered at one of your local shelters, we highly recommend it. The results are almost immediate when you show some love and care to a shelter pet. Feeding, walking, and loving on a shelter pet desperate for some human love and interaction is good for the soul. Give it a try! You will not regret it.
We also have lots of fun gifts for dog lovers in our gift shop as well. If you are itching to get some decor to honor your furry friends, we have plenty to choose from!
