Flower Spotlight: Baby’s Breath

Gypsophila or more popularly known as, Baby’s Breath, has continued to regain popularity over the recent years. The plant is named for the small and delicate appearance of the flower, which some say resemble a gentle breath. Cut stems of the blooms give off a cottage garden aesthetic and can have a long lasting vase life with proper care.  

Flower Spotlight: Carnations

Sometimes referred to as “Flowers of God” or “Heavenly Flower,” carnations are the birth flower for the month of January. Red and pink carnations are often given as a sign of maternal, spiritual, and sometimes even romantic love, great affection, and gratitude. White carnations symbolize good luck, prosperity, and sometimes pure love.

Holly is often associated with Christmas time due to its glossy green leaves and bright red berries — the perfect blend of Christmas colors. Native to the eastern and central parts of the United States, holly can be classified as a tree or a bush depending on its size.
